Who we are

This website is operated by Tiger Fluids Australia Pty Ltd (“Tiger Fluids”, “we”, “us”). We supply drilling fluids, bentonite products and additives across Australia and the Asia Pacific region. We are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

We only collect personal information that you choose to give us, or that is created automatically when you visit the site.

• Enquiry form. If you complete the contact form we collect your first name, last name, email address, phone number, enquiry type and the content of your message.
• Direct contact. If you email or phone us, we hold whatever information you provide in that correspondence.
• Technical data. Our web server and content delivery provider record standard log information, including IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time of the request.
• Analytics. We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies and collects usage information such as pages visited, approximate location and device type.

We do not collect sensitive information, and we do not take payments through this website.

How we use it

• To answer your enquiry and provide quotes, product and technical advice.
• To supply products and provide customer support.
• To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
• To meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your consent.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This site uses Google Analytics cookies to measure traffic and usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works normally with cookies disabled.

Who we share it with

We disclose personal information only where it is necessary:

• Enquiry form submissions are delivered by email to our info@tigerfluids.com mailbox.
• Our web hosting and email providers, who store the site and our correspondence.
• Our content delivery and security provider, which processes requests to the site.
• Google, as our analytics provider.
• Related Tiger Fluids entities, including our Asia Pacific office in Singapore, where your enquiry relates to that region.
• Any person to whom we are required to disclose information by law.

Overseas disclosure

Some of the service providers above, and our Singapore office, are located outside Australia. Where information is disclosed overseas we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Security and retention

The site is served over HTTPS. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and to meet our legal and business record-keeping obligations, then delete it or de-identify it.

Your rights

You may ask us to give you access to the personal information we hold about you, or to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. You may also ask us to delete it, subject to our legal obligations. Contact us at info@tigerfluids.com. We will respond within a reasonable period, and may need to verify your identity first.

Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first at info@tigerfluids.com so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
